Knowledge Is Power Summit

In May 2022, the Commission and its cross-sector partners held the two-day Knowledge is Power Summit: Using Data to Advance Racial Equity for Families and Communities (Summit). The Summit utilized data and narrative to tell the story of what brings Black families into contact with LA County’s child welfare system, and to propel the development of strategies to effectuate meaningful change at the individual, organizational, and systems-levels.
